Elin climbed the stairs to her dormitory wearily, her energy thoroughly spent after a day of lessons. She wanted nothing more than to have a good long soak in the bath and then snuggle up in her bed for a good night’s sleep. Sadly, things were not to go as planned. Just as she stepped into her dorm, one of her dorm mates rushed over and grabbed her hand. “Elin! You have to help me! Please?” Sighing, Elin thought “Never a moment’s peace…” “What is it?” she asked. “My rat’s gone missing! I just put him down for a moment and he’s gone!” Elin replied “All right, I’ll help you look for it then.” Yawning, she opened her trunk to put her books down. Where could he have gone? Suddenly, rummaging in her trunk, she felt something furry touch her hand. “There you are!” Elin said, scooping the rat up. “Here you go,” she said, giving the rat to her dorm mate. “Now time for that long awaited bath…”
