Finding A Secret Room

Ginny had been at the library for a while, researching on Goblin War history. It was awfully boring. She sighed and got up. Pulling a random book off a shelf she glanced at the title.

Morgana walked into the library and tried to sneak up on Ginny, but being her clumsy self she tripped and cried "OWW!"

Ginny turned around when she heard a large ow. Looking down, she noticed Morgana on the ground. Smiling, she helped the Gryffindor up. "Were you trying sneak up on me?" she asked Morgana, her blue eyes sparkling.

"...No, of course not. What makes you think that?", Morgana quickly lied. She didn't want to admit that she had failed badly at her attempt to sneak up on her.

Ginny shrugged. "Why else would you be behind me?" She said. Unless Peeves had grown muscles in a few days and thrown Morgana across the room, Ginny couldn't think of any other reason.

"Uuh...long story you see I was walking near the library and a guy walked by and the guy was a vampire so I ran for my life and then I walked in to the library as quietly as possible then I bumped into someone then I was behind you...!", said Morgana. To her it sounded like a completely valid story as she was making the story up on the spot.

Ginny kinda believed her. A vampire at Hogwarts? This seemed unusual but it could happen. Her blue eyes, turned into their normal gray color. "I don't see anyone else here" she said.

"Well...they must've disapparated.", Morgana said before she remembered there were anti apparation wards around Hogwarts. She just hoped Ginny wouldn't notice.

Ginny was about to believe her when she realized Hogwarts had anti-apparation spells. Ginny smiled and pretended to believe Morgana. Even though if Morgana ran, she would have been outta breath, Ginny thought.

"Yeah! So what were you doing?" Morgana asked. She was pretty happy that Ginny belived her and felt pretty confident about her lying skills.

"Searching for things of History of Magic." She said. she grabbed another book, but the book just tilted and then a wall on the right moved.

"Oh my god! Is that what I think it is? I read somewhere in Hogwarts: A History that the founders created secret rooms in the castle.I think it was to add to the magical castle effect." said Morgana. She was quite surprised, after all she thought it was all a legend.

Ginny smiled. She walked up towards the wall, and looked and Morgana. "You want to do some exploring today?" She asked. She was eager to explore this place.

"Why not?", Morgana said excitedly she couldn't wait to go in.

Ginny smiled, and entered the room. She was speechless, when she looked around. The room looked like a ballroom. It was fancy and shiny, not one pinch dusty.

"WOW! This must be where the Founders had dance parties!" said Morgana. She then skipped over to an old looking recorder and tried to use it when the old thing crumbled. "...Oops." said Morgana and ran back to Ginny.

Ginny stifled her laughter when Morgana's discovery of the old recorder crumpled to pieces. Ginny looked at the floor which looked like it had been recently washed. The sparkly chandlier also didn't have dust on it. "I think I'm going to the library much more often." Ginny said. She wondered how many parties had been held here.

"Hey do you think we could have secret parties held here? I mean that would be awesome!" said Morgana. This room was pretty big so she tried something that she had always wanted to do. She pulled of her shoes and started sliding around in her socks. "Hey Ginny try this it's so fun!" she said as she laughed like a maniac.

Ginny nodded. Secret parties would be great, even better if this room had some sorta selfcleaning charm. Ginny took of her shoes also and slide in socks also.

"So do you think we could manage to ask the house elves to keep it a secret and bring us food as well?" asked Morgana as she fantasized about having a wonderful secret party with delicious food and... her train of thought was stopped because she had slid directly into the wall. "Oww!" Morgana said she really hated to be so clumsy.

Ginny nods. "Course they would. " she replied. House elves were generous, if they threw a party they would have more than enough food! Suddenly Ginny heard a loud crash followed by an 'ow'. "Are you alright?" She asked Morgana, seeing her on the floor. Ginny slid towards Morgana, and helped her up again.

"Yeah! Thanks though!" said Morgana as she quickly got back on her feet and slid to the other side of the room where she started humming classical music. "Do you think this room has some special charms that connects it to the kitchen or musical charms?" she asked. She really hoped it did.

"It might." Ginny said excitedly. This room was old, so it could have ancient charms. They could be dangerous too, she thought.

"Well then parties will be super easy! Hey what's that?" asked Morgana as she pointed towards a door that had suddenly appeared on the other side of the room. She checked to make sure it wasn't the door they had come from, and it wasn't.

Ginny looked at the new door that had suddenly appeared. Maybe this room leads to the real secret room? she wondered. She briefly thought for a moment that the door was the one where they had come from. As Morgana checked the door and confirmed that it wasn't the door they had come from; Ginny wondered if it was one of the founders offices or laboratory. Ginny opened the newly discovered door, and peered inside. It was quite dark, and it smelled like old paper.
