High Table

Elin walks into the Great Hall after her Charms class to have some lunch. Walking over to the High Table, she sits down at her place and smiles at Beauty who is sitting next to her. "Hello, Beauty. How are you?" she says while helping herself to some food.

Beauty smiled brightly," Elin! Always a pleasure to talk to you." Beauty tilted her head, letting her silky blonde hair fall down her shoulder," i'm fine, You?"

"The pleasure is mine," Elin grins and replies. "I just had my Charms class, it wasn't bad. The students were quite nice. I'm looking forward to the next class already. Have you had yours?" She scoops up some salad and puts it into her mouth.

Beauty smirked," I had mine, it was splendid of course," The professor's eyes gazed over to a few Gryffindors that had picked a fight with some Slytherins.Shaking her head she turned back to Elin," It was quite scary actually. I mean there were spells flying all over the place. I'm sure I saw a few Unforgivable,"

Following Beauty's gaze, Elin saw the fight and winced."Do you think we should go over and stop them?" she asked. "Hmm... What was your class about? Were your students fighting or something?" I hope I won't need to see classes like that but I suppose its inescapable in this school... she thought to herself.

" it was about dueling so of course I expected the fighting and joking around," Looking at the students she shook her head," No, the studenst must learn how to deal with fights on their own,"

"Ah, I see. Well, if you think so," Elin said, turning her attention back to her food. "There's a lot of rivalry between houses here, don't you think? Especially between Gryffindor and Slytherin," she said with a sigh.

Beauty nodded," The fights are just like when I was a student, long and never ending,"

Elin nods at Beauty, agreeing with her. "I saw quite a few of them in my day too. I even joined in a few times," she said with a laugh.

Beauty laughed," Those were always interesting," she said picking at her food," Though they're the reason why my detention list was so long,"

"Yeah, luckily my parents didn't mind then," Elin replied, laughing.

Beauty smirked," My parents expected the detentions I guess,"

Amelia entered the Great Hall, quite bored. She walked up to the High Table where she saw her other fellow professors. "Hello Soloman, Whiteraven." She greeted. She didn't know there first names so she spoke to them by their last names.

The Professor smiled at Amelia," Please, call me Beauty,"

Amelia nods. "Beauty is a lovely name." She said to Beauty. She smiled.

Beauty nodded" Thank you," she smiled," And if you don't mind me answering, who might you be?"

Elin smiled at Amelia. "Miss Blevins, please call me Elin. Its a pleasure to meet you," she said to the Transfiguration Professor.

Amelia nods. "Call me Amelia." She said to Elin. Turning to Beauty, she said, "I'm Amelia Blevins, Tranfiguration Professor." She said.
