First Charms Class

Elin walks into her classroom and gets her things ready for the lesson. She sits down and waits at the teacher's desk with a cup of her favourite hot chocolate and waits for the students to come in. Slightly nervous because it is her first lesson, she hopes that the students like her class.

When she sees that it is time for class to start, she stands up and says in a clear, loud voice "Good morning class. I am Professor Whiteraven, and I will be teaching you Charms for the foreseeable future." She looks out onto the faces if her students. Some of them looked eager, some of them nervous. "Now, Charms is sometimes seen as a softer subject, but I hope that by the end of your years at Hogwarts, you will get to see that it is as important as any other subject. And so, before we start, can anyone tell me what a charm is?"

Jade rises her hand, the teacher called her. "A charm is a spell that adds certain properties to odjects or creatures." Jade simplys says. "Shouldn't. She know this stuff already.

"Very good, Miss Lee, thank you. Now can anyone give me some examples of charms?" said Elin, smiling at Jade.

Ginny rushed into the Charms classroom. Peeves had stalled her from going by throwing ink, and she had to rush back and get some clothes with no ink on them. "Hello Professor. Sorry I'm late." She said. Hoping she wasn't too late.

Lyra rushes in right behind Ginny, almost bumping into her. "Sorry, Professor! We both got held up by Peeves," she said, hoping the teacher would forgive them.

"Very well, Miss McCall and Miss Nerina, please take a seat, and try not to be late next time," Elin says to the two students. "Now, again, could I have some examples of charms?" she says to the students.

Luna rushes in holding books that overflowed with parchment. She never was an organised person but her mother is the complete opposite. She smiles at the thought of her mother. ''So sorry i'm late! I was talking to another professor!'' She sits herself at the back and puts the books down with a loud thud. She blushes from the noise hoping she didn't disturb the class. She opens her book and finds an empty page, she pulls out her crow quill and begins to make notes.

Ginny listened to the Professor's question. Suddenly, a 4th year girl came into the room. Ginny noticed that the girl carried lots of parchment. She let her book land with a thud, which made Ginny jump slightly. She thought about the Professor's question again. She raised her hand nervously. "An example of a charm could be Lumos?" She said. Hoping she hadn't mixed charms with another class.

Jade saw all the late students, she could tell most were nervous, some happy. "They'll all do fine." Jade mutters to herself.

Ali strolled into Charms, knowing she was a little late. Smiling at the other students she took as seat in the far back of the class, hoping at least one of her lazy friends decided to show up.

Angel walked into Charms class, following Ali. She nodded at the Professor before plopping herself down in one of the seats next to Ali," Get that detention yet," Angel muttered so only Al could hear.

Tristan slowly walked through Hogwarts, his best friend right behind him. Both of the boys were about to head beck to their common room when they walked past the Charms classroom" we haven't been to charms in a while," he said casually walking in. Taking a quick glance around he sat himself down next to Angel.

Jace smirked," Charms it is," He strolled in after Tristan and slouched in a chair next to him.

Ali shook her head," Not yet, but I promise we'll get it soon," She smiled when she saw Tristan and Jace walk in," Looks like someone decided to come to charms,"

Jace shrugged," It was this or staring at the wall in the common room,"

Tristan smirked," And it was a very hard decision too. I mean the wall is pretty interesting,"

Angel laughed," It's a wonder you're in your third year,"

Smirking Tristan ran his fingers through his already messed up hair," Who says looks can't get you trough life?"

Angel picked up her charms textbook and playfully smacked Tristan and Jace," Shut up and pay attention,"

Tristan grinned," I love how you smack us and expect it to hurt," he teased grabbing the book from Angel and holding it above her head.

Jace howled with laughter before jumping out of his seat and running over to where Ali was sitting," I'm open," he called out.

Tristan grinned before leaning back in his seat and aiming the book at Jace.

Ali rolled her eyes before intercepting the throw," Stop acting like a bunch of first years," she dangled the book in front of her eyes before giving it back to Angel. Standing up she grabbed Jace's scarlet and gold striped tie and dragged him back to his seat," Now stay,"

Jace fake choked when he got back to his seat," You know you could have killed me right?"

Luna laughs at their conversation and looks at them. ''You guys are weird...Luna Valkyrie at your service.'' She smirks at them.
