First Charms Class

"They hate me... and I feel as if you stay to near me people will hurt you." Jade whispers back. Jade was in the deep wishing she could reset time. "Why are you so nice after what I did to your friends.

"Thank you again, Miss Lee. Well, to speed things up, the wand movement is swish and flick," said Elin, demonstrating it as she said so. Ignoring the talking students, she said "Now, I would like everyone to try levitating a feather, and after you have shown it to me, you may go." She distributed the feathers using a spell. "You may start now."

Jade was nervous. Holding her wand out, she swished, and flicked. After a while when 5% of the class was done Jade held out her wand. " Wingardium Leviosa." Jade mutters as she did the movement, the feather went up in the air for a least a minute. Walking up to the professor she showed her the spell.

Elin smiles at Jade and says "Thank you Miss Lee, that was an excellent demonstration. You may go now if you wish." She starts walking around the classroom to check on the students' progress.

Jade wanted to stay, so she could say sorry. Sitting by the door Jade waits for the group to get ready to leave.

Luna smirks at Tristan and nods her head in a polite way. ''Don't ya worry...I ain't like the other snakes. I can be worse..but better.'' She winks to no one really and laughs before doing the spell. ''Wingardium Leviosa!'' The black feather raised into the air and she grins. ''Is this alright, Professor?''

Jace really wanted to get this class over with and hit the quidditch pitch, sighing he pulled out his wand," Wingardium Leviosa," He smirked as the feather floats in the air.

Ali pulled out her wand, doing the swish and flick motion Wingardium Leviosa.,she smiled as the feather rose.

Luna taps her fingers against the table, getting slightly impatient. She wants to leave. She needs to fly. She opens her notebook and begins to draw a hippogriff waiting to leave. She's seen that most of the class has preformed the spell so that means they can go soon.

Elin sees that many of the students have performed the charm to her satisfaction. "Good work, all of you. You may go," she says.

Jade had miss the group, and she gets up to leave.

Luna grabs her overflowing notebook in a rush and walks out. ''Thanks Professor! See ya next lesson!'' She runs out and runs her way to the pitch.

Ginny had been to immersed in trying to do the spell, she didn't notice the students leave. Her feather had only been flying low, and she wanted to make it higher. She did it around 3 times, before her feather flew up, near the ceiling. She smiled.

Elin sees that Ginny has performed the charm. "Very good, Miss McCall. You may go now," she says, smiling. She looks around and sees that all the students have performed the charm. "Good work, class. I shall see you next lesson, and please try to be punctual next time," she says to the emptying classroom. She smiles to herself, happy that her class was successful, albeit with a few distractions. Packing her things, she muses about what her next class should be.

Ginny smiled, and got up. "Good bye Professor!" She said, and walked out of the class.

Elisabetta let out a groan, but she took her wand, waved it, and said "Wingardium Leviosa". The feather stayed put. After three more tries, she finally managed to make it levitate several inches off of her desk..

"It's about bloody time." she muttered to herself, waiting for the instructor to come to see what she had done.

Elin watches as Elisabetta, one of the few people left, managing to levitate her feather. "Good job, Miss Domenici. Perhaps some practice is in order though," she says, smiling. "You may go now."
